The Auxiliary
What is the Auxiliary?
The Auxiliary to BC Children’s Hospital is a self-governing, non-profit, membership organization that is accountable directly to the hospital’s administration. The Auxiliary is founded by persons from the community who agree to work together to assist a health care institution in promoting the health and welfare of the community.
The Auxiliary:
- Operates a variety of businesses in which all proceeds are donated directly to BC Children’s Hospital supporting patient programs and services.
- Is a registered Charity.
- Since 1982 has donated over $7,000,000 to BC Children’s Hospital Foundation.
- In 2006 formed a unique social enterprise with Salvation Army National Recycling Organization.

Auxiliary to BCCH Holiday Card Program:

Auxiliary Clothing Bins:
Proceeds from the collection of gently used clothing are donated to BC Children’s Hospital.
